Alta Video — 1918: Prototype pollution in Alta Video's network connection stats functionality

Overview
A prototype pollution vulnerability was discovered in Alta Video. In the worst case, this could lead to a cross site scripting attack. However, the risk of such an attack is lower due to a generic mitigation already in place against exploitation of prototype pollution.

- Alta Video:
- All Stable upgrade channel versions before 7.6.5.
- All Beta upgrade channel versions before 7.6.4.
Unaffected Products
Alta Video:
- All Stable upgrade channel versions after and including 7.6.5.
- All Beta upgrade channel versions after and including 7.6.4.
Avigilon Cloud-Native Cameras: all versions.
Alta Video Cloud: all versions.
Resolution
This issue has been fixed in Alta Video Beta upgrade channel version 7.6.4 and Stable upgrade channel version 7.6.5.
It is highly recommended that all installations running an affected version are upgraded to the latest release as soon as possible. Releases are available to download through the Alta Video User Interface.
